Dhvani has approached several dance teachers in the area who have an abiding interest in promoting the performing arts and a dance advisory committee has been formed. The committee, which includes two of the trustees of Dhvani, serves in an advisory capacity to help the organization promote interest in the performing arts of India. To show their support for the newly formed organisation, the teachers readily agreed to perform for Dhvani’s very first dance program. Each of the teachers (dancers) will present characteristic items which represent their respective schools of dance. Don’t miss this unique event which will include individual as well as collaborative pieces by Smitha Magal, Priya Gajaananan, Ami Majmudar, Sukanya Chand and Madhavi Sudhir.
This is a ticketed event for everyone other than Annual Members. Tickets may be purchased from the dance teachers named above, from Dhvani Board Members, or on this website. Get your tickets early as this program is expected to be fully sold soon.
Special note for attendees:
The ticket office will open at 6:00 PM on the day of the program. We suggest you come early and take your seats by 6:45.
If you are not an annual member of Dhvani, we suggest you purchase your tickets soon. Please bring your receipt to the hall by 6:30 PM on the day of the program to collect your tickets. Seat assignments will be on a first come basis. Please come early to get the best available seat assignments.
For Donors, Benefactors and Patrons of Dhvani – we have a block of assigned seats held for you on a first come basis. You are guaranteed an assigned seat provided you are in the hall at least 30 minutes before the start of the program. Please come early and get the best seats available.
Once the program starts, we will seat people between items to minimize inconvenience to others. Please come early and be in your seats by 6:45 PM. We plan to start promptly at 7 PM.
