Jayashree Rajeev started her music lessons at an early age of 5 from a veteran Nadaswara vidwan Shri Puthur Srinivas at Kannur, who himself was a disciple of Late Tanjore Rajarathnam Pillai, the final word in Nadaswara and continued under him for almost ten years. Later, she came under the tutelage of Late Nedumangad Sasidharan Nari, a renowned singer of AIR Calicut, where she honed her skills in advanced music and perfected her style of singing with consummate ease. She started performing concerts in 1990. Presently she is a graded artist of All India Radio. Currently disciple of Sangeetha Kalarcharya Smt. Suguna Varadachari, Chennai.

She has released over 15 classical fusion albums and has rendered live concerts in over 1500 stages across India, Middle East and Kenya. This is her second US tour. Further, Ms. Jayashree has rendered her voice in both Malayalam and Telugu films, and has appeared in various television programs, with the latest being Davayanam (Malayalam movie, 2017).

Ms. Jayashree has learned from respected musicians in the Carnatic style such as V Dakshinamurthy, K Raghavan, and B A Chidambaranthan. Further, Ms. Jayashree has a Master of Arts degree in Music from the University Kannur, Kerala, India. Ms. Jayashree also runs the Shree Shankaram School of Music in Kannur, Kerala, India, which currently has over 150 students.

Manjoor Ranjith – Violin

Ranjith, is an award wining violinist with over twenty three years of experience as a carnatic musician. He has accompanied several vocalists and has traveled to several countries to perform concerts. Ranjith secured his postgraduate degree in Violin from RLV College of Music and is a B-high grade artist from All India Radio. He has traveled across India, Australia, Kenya, Zambia, and Mauritius for carnatic concerts.

He was conferred the ‘Sangeetha Laya Vadya Prathibha Award’ by Gowda Swarswath Brahmin Trust in 2009 and ‘Ragarathna Award’ by Sai Trust in the year 2012.

Balakrishna Kammath – Mridangam

Balakrishna, a Mridangam artist, has thirty years of experience. Balakrishna, is an “A” grade Mridangam artist of All India Radio and has been featured in multiple albums and films. Throughout his career he has been invited to perform and provide workshops in Qatar, Dubai, France, Kenya, Mauritius and now the United States.

The recipient of the Sri Palani Subhramanian Pillai Award (2006) and the Yuvakalarathnam Award (2005). Balakrishna is also a Mridangam instructor and has students in France, Germany, England and Russia.
