The Dhvani Artists’ Collective is an effort at creating a curated repository of video recordings that will bring together artists and rasikas, across the world. The goal of this collective is to create a rich and varied library of music, featuring talented artists from far and wide. We intend to make this a digital platform that rasikas can count on for music content of high standards, shared by passionate musicians of repute and standing.
We are inviting artists to share their music here, with the hope of reaching their music, to as wide a rasika base as possible. To this end, we also invite rasikas to watch and enjoy these recordings, on a paid basis. With each payment, rasikas will be able to enjoy the recording that they purchase, for a whole year. Dhvani will share 70% or more of each purchase, with the artists, starting with the very first purchase. We further ensure that all the artists featured in a recording are recognized and paid for their contributions.
All we ask of rasikas is that they support this effort, in a manner that is true to its intent – to support and cherish our artist community, that shares with us so wholeheartedly their art. Please do not copy or share the recordings with others. Please do invite others to visit the library, pay, and enjoy the music to their heart’s content.
This library is also envisaged as a growing effort that will eventually be run by a group of artists who will recommend the rules that will govern the site. As we evolve and learn, we will continuously improve the setup and features of the platform.
If you are a musician who would like to participate in this project, email us with your interest and we will send you the information you will need to participate. If you are a rasika, who feels happy to be part of this platform, to experience quality art and support artists, stay tuned, for the official launch of the Dhvani Artists’ Collective. In either case, welcome to the Dhvani family and we look forward to creating a free, fair, and transparent ecosystem that brings together artists and audiences in a shared celebration of the arts.
Dhvani is a non-profit organization 501(3)c under the IRS of the United States. Please make a donation to help us with this effort.
