Dhvani has approached several dance teachers in the area who have an abiding interest in promoting the performing arts and a dance advisory committee has been formed.
A renowned carnatic vocalist who was groomed in the ‘Guru Kula’ system of his father Sri Cherthala Narayana Iyer, who belonged to ‘Semmangudi Tradition’.
The trustees of Dhvani will host a reception and an exclusive chamber concert to thank our donors and benefactors for their generous support without which many of our programs and activities would not be possible.
Malladi Sreeramaprasad and Malladi Ravikumar, are a Carnatic music vocalists. They started learning music from their late grandfather Malladi Srirama Murthy and their father Malladi Suri Babu.
Bharat Sundar took the Carnatic music world by storm by winning as the first Carnatic Music Idol on Jaya TV. He has been trained by Gayathri Mahesh, G. Srikanth and Leelavathi Gopalakrishnan.
Dhvani is proud to present, in conjunction with The Ravi Shankar Foundation, these remarkable artists in their North American debut. The legacy continues. The program is cosponsored by Swaranjali.
As a Carnatic music performer, writer and teacher, Kiranavali is a very accomplished musician of her generation. After her debut as a vocalist was at the age of 11 she later branched out as a soloist, though she is a versatile gottuvadyam player.
