RANJANI SIVAKUMAR
Ranjani Sivakumar is a classical musician whose music draws attention – for its aesthetics, quality of voice, finely calibrated style and a truthful expression with it.
Music has been her best teacher and she is thankful for having had the opportunity to travel far and wide with it, thereby enriching her life experience.
Her Gurus – Seeta Narayanan, flutist NS Srinivasan, Chetalapati Balasubramaniam, and Dr. Pantula Rama have shaped her to become the musician she is today. She is ever grateful for their tutelage.
She is presently learning Hindustani music while keeping with her Carnatic roots, with Professor Shri Vishnuchittan Balaji, of Benares Hindu University.
Ranjani has sung soulful melodies for cinemas like Pelli Choopulu, Mental Madilo.
Her collaborative projects
“raga and yoga” – a detox for the five senses,
“tana bana”-, “Triobroma” – storytelling and music,
have received a lot of attention and appreciation.
She engages with children, musically, by being a part of an outdoor camp called “Cast Away”.
She also teaches at the Jiddu Krishnamurti school -“Shibumi” and Amar Chitra Katha.
A former techie from TCS, she has the opportunity to combine her software skills and music to work with Apple Inc on their Apple Music platform.
Under the guidance of innovator Uday Shankar, Ranjani is researching the design of the Tambura.
SRIRAMYA MANTHA
Sriramya began her Musical training in Violin under ‘Sangitha Kalasagara’ Vidwan Late Sri Vijayeswara Rao. Presently she is under the tutelage of ‘Sangitha Kalanidhi’ Kum. Kanyakumari Avasarala. She is a ‘B-High’ Grade Artiste of AIR. Sriramya is one of the known Violin artists blessed to accompany several Senior Musicians and her peers.
Sriramya is the recipient of the prestigious ‘Bharat Ratna Dr. M.S.Subbulakshmi fellowship’ instituted by Sri Shanmukhananda Sangeetha Sabha, Mumbai. She was awarded ‘Fellowship for Young Artists’ and CCRT- Cultural Talent Search Scholarship instituted by the Ministry Of Culture. Government of India. She was presented a Gold Medal for Promising Young Artist by Vijaya Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha,Vizag. She won the Best Violinist Award at the Mudhra Kutcheri Competition held in 2018, “Outstanding Concert Award’ from Sri Karthikeya Gana Sabha, Hyderabad; “Artist Of Distinction” from Visakha Music Academy, Visakhapatnam and many more.
RAMAKRISHNA CHILIVERU
Ramakrishna is a graded professional artist recognized by Pradera Bharathi All India Radio.
He received the prestigious “UGADHI PURASKAR” from Madras Telugu Academy at the age of 10 years. It was presented by the governor of Andhra Pradesh and also received “THE DUKE OF EDINBURG award (from UK).
His talent and efforts are recognized by the Center for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) with a senior scholarship.
Ramakrishna started learning mridangam at age five. He initially learned from late Sri. N Varadacharyulu and a Srinivas Rao. Later continued his advanced training from “mridanga bhanudu” late Sri.MahdevulaxmiNaraya Raju, a top graded artist. He has accompanied many leading concert artists.
